Welcome - Your Onboarding Journey

We’re a small, boutique studio offering both Pilates and personal training, and we’re passionate about helping you move, feel, and live better. Lauren, the owner, brings over 20 years of experience along with specialist training in Female Health & Performance and Nutrition Coaching.

To ensure you get the most out of your experience with us - and start safely at the right level - we have a structured onboarding process for all new clients. We know how frustrating (and risky) it can be to join a class that isn’t the right fit, so we take the time to get it right from the beginning.

Getting Started with a New Starter Pack

All new clients begin with one of our tailored New Starter Packs. This approach has helped hundreds of clients settle into the studio with confidence - some of whom have been with us for over a decade!

We don’t offer casual drop-in sessions. Instead, we invite you to begin a more personalised journey - whether through Pilates, personal training, or a combination of both. Most new clients benefit from beginning with Pilates to build strength and movement awareness before progressing into more advanced training.

If you’ve tried Pilates at the gym or done a few Reformer classes, that’s great - but it’s usually just a small taste. Most people haven’t had the opportunity to learn the true foundations. That’s why our most popular starting point is the Pilates/PT Semi-Private Starter Pack.

Your Next Steps

1. Fill Out Our Questionnaire

A Pilates semi-private session entails one instructor supervising up to 3-4 clients who are working on their own tailored program.

Your semi-private sessions begin once you’ve attended your initial consultation and then have a follow-up private session to make sure you understand your beginner program before entering into a small group.

These sessions also generally involve a combination of mat based exercises and the use of the Pilates machines to meet your goals, address any pain or injury and most importantly address any postural deviations in your body.

Semi-private sessions are great for those who need more tailored Pilates without the expense of private lessons and for those of you who have a certain health conditions or restrictions you may be dealing with.

Studio Guidelines

To keep our space safe, clean, and enjoyable for everyone, please take a moment to read through the following:

Before You Arrive

  • Bring two clean bath-sized towels to each session—one for lying on, and one to use as a headrest. Please avoid sandy beach towels.
  • Wear clean grip socks for all Pilates and Barre classes.
  • For Beyond 50, TRX, and Group PT, please wear clean training shoes.
  • Drive slowly - maximum 20 km/h on the property.
    • Wait before the bridge if another car is exiting (they have right of way).
  • Arrive no earlier than 5 minutes before your session starts.
  • If you're late for a class, warm up before joining in.
  • If you're late to a private/semi-private session, it will still finish at the scheduled time.

In the Studio

  • Pop your belongings into the pigeonholes provided.
  • Keep phones on silent or off.
  • Wear comfortable clothing without zips, buttons, or anything sharp that could damage the equipment.
  • Avoid clothing that’s too revealing—form-fitting attire is best so your instructor can see your movement clearly.
  • Skip the perfume, cologne, or aftershave—some clients are sensitive to scents.
  • Tie back long hair.
  • Leave muddy or sandy shoes at the door.
  • Keep jewellery minimal—remove anything sharp, including watches and bangles.
  • For private/semi-private Pilates, we ask for quiet focus to get the most out of your session.
  • Only water is allowed inside—no glass bottles or food.

Class Details & Cancellations

  • All sessions run for 60 minutes.
  • Cancellations must be made at least 12 hours in advance, or the full fee will apply.
  • If you're feeling unwell or have a contagious illness, please stay home to protect others.

No worries - we have spares available. Just leave them in the laundry basket in the bathroom after your session. Please don’t take them home.
